Events change minds
Events, whether digital or in the real world, should always center the audiences that experience them. This is especially true for people of Diaspora communities, where culture, history, or religion binds what geography and language separate. Whether African, Jewish, Chinese -- the 3 largest Diasporas on Earth -- there are always common threads that bind the people. It's what's magically familiar. And centering eye-level familiarity within the experience or event ensures that goals are achieved and enjoyed, not only by the audience but also by those planning and facilitating it.
This is where impact starts.

Changing the discourse from within
Event Spotlight:
the Roundtable on Israel & Gaza
The Black Leaders Roundtable on Israel brought on-the-ground perspectives from Israel to Black leaders, from the perspective of African and African American Israelis who call the region home.
In partnership with friends from the United Nations, these private, delegation-based discussions gave attendees first-hand experience from African Americans living in Israel — perspectives not seen on TV or on social media.
What made these engagements special was attention to experience — the program, the messaging, the seating, lighting, and
location — all were customized and celebrated the collective African experience shared in the room as we unpacked sensitive topics around the conflict in the region, and the Judaic imprint on both Black and Jewish America history, in the Caribbean, and in Israel.
